Our Last Man Standing competetion for the new season kicks off on Saturday 14th of August. Entry to this years competition will be €10 per entry, 50% of the money raised will go to the winner. The more entries we have the bigger the prize fund so please encourage friends and family to sign up. The rules for the competition are below.

 

 RULES

1) Each week you must pick 1 team to win.

 

2) You may only pick each team once in a series (so if you pick Arsenal in week one then you cannot pick them again until all 20 teams have been picked).

 

3) If your team wins you move on to the next round. If your team loses, draws or you fail to nominate a team you are knocked out.

 

4) Once you have used all 20 teams then you can pick any team from the 20 again. Assuming that there are still people remaining in the competition.

 

5) The winner is the 'last man standing'.

 

6) The winner receives €800.

 

7) Participants will be informed on the Wednesday, by email if an email address has been supplied, or by the club representative who signed you up, as to whether they are still in the competition or have been eliminated.

You can also text the club representative who signed you up to contact Colin Yelverton with the team selection by 12 noon on the Saturday before the first game.

 

9) Failure to nominate a team by 12 Noon on the Saturday before the first game will result in you being knocked out of the competition.

 

10) If all games end in draws or all remaining participants are eliminated on a given weekend all participants still involved will be moved onto the next round.

 

11) It costs 10 euro to enter. The more entrants there are, the bigger the prize funds so please encourage friends and family to sign up.
